Heihachi - STILL HAS HIS BROKEN COMBO - EXCEPT ITS ONLY GUARANTEED ON COUNTER HIT NOW!!! Feels very similar overall, he's still quite strong... couldn't get hellsweeps after FC df4 however......
Paul - NO FC DF2-1 just frame - or at least I couldn't do it. Same Falling leaf Just Frame timing, same death on low block, dammit. FF 2-1 duckable on block - very similar, will not move in tiers imo. Didn't see any differences
Feng - got the BIGGGGG shaft - D+4 stomp very weak, only one ever guaranteed on grounded opponent now, huge lag after hit. For example, in
combo WS2, df1,df1 D4, no second D4 guaranteed, not even D2 to end the
combo - that's how much lag move has now. SS-4 feels slower, death on block now, like DB 4. B-1 was very hard to hit in comparison to his 5.0 version, just seemed slower, and with the new backroll escape, ram only sometimes guaranteed, basically if the opponent doesn't hold back.... Felt extremely toned down, stomp on ground hit taking very little now.... definitely will drop, seems very limited now.
Nina - not much seen, but df12, ws 1,2 seemed VERY slow...VERY WEAK GROUND GAME NOW, uf+1 very slow, all ground hits doing negligible damage, and easily escapable - worst Nina since TTT imo, maybe not AS bad, but definitely thereabouts...
Kaz - new ws+2 seems to hit from much greater distance than before, could not get electric to launch afterwards. Interestingly, if you follow ws+2 with df+2, instead of crumple stun ala T4 and T5.0 Kaz, opponent flies away, not letting anything hit... best damage option I got was df+44 after ws+2... DB+3 trips now on counter, but leaves opponent VERY far away, was unable to run up and follow with any oki, but didn't really try, so I'm sure some will be found.
Bryan - B+1 only launches on counter, on regular hit opponent does ducking frame, but I didn't see anything guaranteed afterwards. Despite that big loss, seemed very strong still.
Overall, I'm quite disappointed, for the main reason that the ground game is ruined. NO TECH CATCHES, GROUND HITS NOW DO FARRRR LESS DAMAGE, AND PREVIOUS GUARANTEED HITS, for example Feng's B+1, or Julia's "Michelle" flying elbow, are far too easily avoided with the new "slam down" backroll escape - mindlessly easy, really. Ground game just seems very limiting and safe now, I just feel that Namco wanted to limit oki as much as possible, and imo they have succeeded - to the detriment of the game, again imo.
Will post more soon.
edit:
Asuka - on block had less stun on white heron low-mixup, different looking block stun as well.
Craig - d4 didn't really seem much changed, to be honest. It MAY be a bit slower, but I just couldn't tell. He seems extremely similar overall.
D.Jin - aside from Markman's notes, very similar again. Will be top tier in this new version, imo., as if he wasn't already lol. VERY POPULAR CHAR, many more peeps than usual using him....
Hei - tpistons on block leaves you right next to opponent, VERY punishable. Sorry forgot first time.
大意是 HEI BRYAN 还是很强, Hei - tpistons on block leaves you right next to opponent, tpistons 不知道什么时候招数
paul,老马没啥变化, 连d4 都没怎么变
FENG NINA 减弱了, NINA df12 ws12 都变慢了
